What more is there to say to this quote, except to credit John Meunier? But do read his quote from Jay which explains this a bit more. Actually Jay was thinking of the rivers as meandering boundaries, but I am thinking more in terms of movements of the Spirit which tend to wash away our puny human attempts to define borders.
H.D. Thoreau: “I was born upon thy banks, river, my blood flows in thy stream. And thou meanderest forever at the bottom of my dreams.”
